imageFrom Salman Khan's Sultan to Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3, Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte-starrer Kabali's box office collections have been breaking records continuously. The movie not just got a grand opening on Friday and a totally packed weekend at box office, but it proceeded with its triumphant spree on weekdays also.

Kabali has searned around 15 crore on the fourth day of its release, according to Indian media. This brings the initial four-day collection of the Rajinikanth film to an astounding Rs 115 crore. The fans of Thalaiva kept on flocking to the theaters even on Monday and Tuesday.

As indicated by the megastar, the film has now surpassed Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 record to end up being the most astounding weekend worker ever. The total earnings of Rajinikanth’s film are Rs 415 crore. While Rs 215 crore is from ticket sales, the rest is pre-release money from the sale of various rights.

Speaking to Indian Express, Kabali’s filmmaker Kalaipuli S Dhanu said the movie has earned Rs 90 crore abroad in the primary weekend, out of which Rs 28 crore originated from the US itself where the film is among the main 10 movies. The maker put Indian collection for the weekend at around Rs 100 crore.

Film was directed by Pa Ranjith and the vast majority of the shoot happened on sets in Chennai and Malaysia, where the Tamil superstar has huge following. Even the luxury cars utilized during the shooting in Malaysia were given by the general population out of share respect of the icon, Rajinikanth.
