The Karachi Port handled 107,205 tonnes of cargo including 88,851 tonnes import and 18,354 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 31,888 tonnes dry and 75,317 tonnes liquid cargo. Two ships namely Chembulk Savannah and Thor Sofia sailed out to sea during the report period. Four vessels viz S. Caboto, Iran Sokan, Chembulk Savannah and Thor Sofia are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely MT Swat, Global Prosperity, Thor Captain and Nikos-O expected to sail on Monday, while two ships namely S. Caboto and Rio Rubio are expected to sail on Tuesday.
MV Apl Cairo due to arrive on Monday, while six ships viz Yanaseni, Asian Trader, Sinar Bontang, Tai He, YM Energy and Induruwa Valley are due to arrive on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 3,520 tonnes chemicals; 1,165 tonnes carbon oil; 10,070 tonnes crude oil; 13,355 tonnes coal; 7,422 tonnes wheat and 26,180 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely P&O Nedlloyd Colombo, MSC Carmen and Fujairan Pearl are expected to sail on Monday.
MV Marine Champion due to take berth on Monday.
Two vessels viz Padang Halaban and VOC Daisy due to arrive.
