TCP procures 2.123 million bales

Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has so far contracted for more than 2.123 million cotton bales from ginneries in Sindh and Punjab. A TCP announcement said here on Thursday that 15,500 bales were contracted on Wednesday. About 1.522 million bales have been procured by the corporation from Punjab and 595,200 bales from Sindh while 14,800 bales from Balochistan.
These bales were procured from Nawabshah, Sukkur, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Harroonabad, DG Khan, Sahiwal, Vehari and Dera Allahyar Khan.
