Australian opener Justin Langer is in doubt for the second cricket Test against Pakistan in Melbourne because of a back problem, team officials said on Thursday. Langer was diagnosed with a bulging disc after bending down to pick up a ball at training on Thursday morning. Australian physiotherapist Errol Alcott said Langer was in severe pain and was in serious doubt for the second Test, which begins on Boxing Day.
