In order to provide better and comfortable transport facilities to employees, management of Pakistan Steel Mill Karachi has acquired 25 brand new Hino buses through leasing arrangement. Managing Director/CEO Hinopak Motors Limited Keiji Maeda on Friday presented keys of 10 buses to Chairman Pakistan Steel Lieutenant General Abdul Qayyum (Retd) as first instalment.
This meets long outstanding demand of daily commuting shift workforce to get rid of rotten contract buses with torn seats and broken window glasses.
Contract arrangement through Hadeed Welfare Trust (HWT) enables Pakistan Steel to concentrate on core production and marketing activities. Hinopak have also promised to extend mobile and static workshops facilities.
Chairman Pakistan Steel told Hinopak delegation of steps being taken for improving quality of its products used by automobile industry, enhancing corporate image, transparency and welfare measures for employees etc.
