Seven Pakistani pilgrims have so far died after arriving in Saudi Arabia for Haj-2005, Pakistan Haj Medical Mission reported. The mission, which also made arrangements for their burial, said they died of natural causes. The national flag carrier PIA has airlifted 315,616 pilgrims from Pakistan by December 24.
They arrived by 126 scheduled flights of PIA since December 15, from different cities of Pakistan, Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan and Faisalabad.
Some 150,000 more Pakistani pilgrims are expected to arrive in Saudi Arabia in the next few days.
Haj Mission, working round the clock, has made arrangements for the boarding and lodging of these Hujjaj besides taking care of their problems and complaints.
