Federal Railway Minister Shamim Haider has said that on the day of the Quaid-e-Azam's birthday we must renew our pledge to make Pakistan an enlightened and moderate progressive country so as to stand with other developed countries. He expressed these views while addressing the PML workers here at the PML House to celebrate the 128th Quaid-e-Azam birthday here on Saturday.
Shamim maintained that after the independence the founder of Pakistan laid emphasis on complete rights for the minorities and 'today they are enjoying all the rights."
He said: "Islam believes in enlightenment and moderation, and there is no room for extremism."
