Customs stations to work round-the-clock till December 31

All export stations of the Collectorate of Customs (Export), Karachi, will remain open round-the-clock till December 31 for examination of the export consignments. The Collectorate, in an order, said on Monday the processing of the export documents at all the exporting station would continue upto 9 pm till December 31, on working days on prescribed fee.
The goods declarations (GDs) for the exports should be processed up to 8 pm daily till December 31, it added. The customs stations worked from 9 am to 9 pm on December 25 and 26.
The customs stations, which will remain open round-the-clock, include Pakistan International Container Terminal and Al Hamd International Container Terminal at East Wharf; Karachi International Container Terminal at West Wharf; Air Freight Unit, Karachi Export Processing Zone, Qasim Freight Station and Port Qasim.
