Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block-16, next to the PIA Planetarium is a double road with a narrow inland divide the two sides. This road is connect University Road and Stadium Road, starting from the bus stop of Mumtaz Manzil, passing through KDA Administrative Society. This road has a commercial value, as a number of hospitals and doctor clinics are located on this particular road. About 100-yards from this point, there is a small hotel that has been very kind to distribute food in the morning and evening to the needy poor people on a sadqa basis.
Undoubtedly it is a very noble cause for which both the contributor and the distributor will be entitled for God's blessings (if God willing).
The gathering at this point falls at both the peak hours in the morning and evening and as such causes inconvenience for the running traffic and also for the trespassers including the ladies and school going children of this area.
Besides, the garbage, trash and leftovers also cause dirt creating an unhealthy atmosphere that is absolutely against the ethics of civilised society and our religion as well.
Not only that but the people park their cars on both sides of the road and close to the hotel in a manner that causes problems for the traffic.
We, as citizens have some moral obligations not to cause any inconvenience for the residence and the people passing through this area with this nuisance.
The concerned authority is requested to depute someone to look into this matter in order to help a clean, peaceful and organised environment.
