Organised Crime wing of CIA have apprehended three members of the Munshi dacoit gang involved in various incidents of dacoity and robbery and recovered booty worth Rs 40,000 and illegal weapons form their possession. During preliminary investigation, the accused have confessed 34 cases of dacoity and robbery committed in various cities.
According to details, in order to curb the incidents of dacoity and robbery in Saddar Division SP Organised Crime Rana Muhammad Munawar constituted a special team headed by DSP Organised Crime Ejaz Shafi, which nabbed this inter-district dacoit gang.
According to police the gang was also involved in extorting money.
