Muhammad Rafi has been elected President of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) for 2005 at the 211th meeting of the ICMAP National Council held in Islamabad. Rafi, 49, has over 28 years of professional working experience at reputable organisations of the country. Currently, he is associated with Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).
He has also been teaching subjects of corporate finance and management accounting at Masters level as visiting faculty member at renowned universities and professional accounting bodies of Pakistan.
He is a fellow member of the ICMAP, Pakistan Institute of Public and Finance Accountants (PIPFA), Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan (ICSP) and Diplomaed Associate of the Institute of Bankers in Pakistan (DAIPB).
He was also the Chairman of Joint Committee of the ICMAP and the ICAP for 2004.-PR
