Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) in its 41st annual general meeting held here on Wednesday approved the payment of 25 percent cash dividend for the year ended June 30, 2004. According to a press release, the shareholders also gave their consent about transmission of the company's quarterly accounts through its website (www.sngpl.com.pk) and further approved the sale of investment in Civic Centers Company (Pvt) Ltd, to National Insurance Company (Pvt) Ltd.
The shareholders also expressed confidence in the company's management in meeting their expectations in bringing about improved profitability, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The second largest shareholder of the company, Hussain Dawood also attended the meeting and appreciated the progress made by the company. Finally, the shareholders approved the appointment of Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder & Co, and Riaz Ahmed & Co, Chartered Accountants as joint auditors of the company for the year ending June 30, 2005.-PR
