Three notorious dacoits Falak Sher Falko, Arif Jehangir and Allah Rakha alias Zulfiqar were killed in Police encounter near Abbaspur link road, while four of them fled away from scene, here last night. According to Police sources, a 7-member gang had snatched a motorcycle and cash of Rs 55,000 from a villager on gunpoint.
On receiving tip, Sadar Police encircled the area, where they were busy in another robbery. The dacoits opened fire on the Police and the tried to escape. During three hour exchange of fire, three dacoits involved in more than 100 cases including 19 murder cases were killed on the spot, while other four fled away. Police have registered a case and investigation is in progress.
