The Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who has acted in two films with his impressive work in Bollywood is currently making news and has a huge fan followings in India and Pakistan. He wants a cinematic exchange between India and Pakistan. He feels that the talent between India and Pakistan is rather slow. He expressed that he would like it, if Pakistani films were released in India.
According to Indian Express; ‘Khoobsurat’ and ‘Kapoor & Sons’ says it “would be great” if Pakistani films started releasing in India. He adds, “We have been working on films and have been actively looking for talent from the Indian film industry to work within Pakistani movies.”
The actor says he is doing as much as he can. “And it is not just me. Film-makers such as Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt, and actors such as Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah, have all been trying to work across the border. It will take some time, and hopefully, I will be one of the first ones [to witness that change firsthand],”
The actor is however all set to make his B-Town comeback with Gauri Shinde’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ later this year, in which he is playing the lead role with Alia Bhatt.
