Under the Punjab Education Sector Reform Programme (PESRP), Punjab Finance Department has released the forth instalment of over Rs 130 million to 15 districts. According to sources, the districts of Bhakkar, Kasur, Okara, Lodhran, Vehari, Pakpattan, Jhang, Khanewal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan will be allocated funds for education purpose.
Under PESRP, girls of class VI-VIII from remote areas would get Rs 200 per month as stipend for attending school.
