The Sindh Chief Secretary Muhammad Aslam Sanjrani has exhorted the officials and staff of the concerned provincial departments that besides discharging their normal official duties, they should work hard with greater dedication to fulfil their departmental responsibilities so that all development scheme including mega projects could reach completion stage in time.
He was chairing a meeting here on Monday which was also attended by the Additional Chief Secretary (Development) Ghulam Sarwar Khehro, Secretaries of Irrigation and Power, Mines and Mineral Development, Finance, Works and Services, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and other officials.
In the meeting, the performance of Sindh Coal Authority (SCA) with regard to Thar Coal project came under review.
It was informed the site had been developed for 11 KV Feeder for Coal field and 200 watts transformer installed while work on the installation of 500 KV Transmission line by Wapda was underway.
The meeting was informed the supply of water from Mithi to Islamkot and then to Coalfield ensured while the site has been selected for the construction of airstrip. It was stated that work on the telecommunication and road network was going on with co-ordination between concerned departments and the organisations.
