Recently I read about an aircraft of your national airways avoiding a big mishap that thank God averted a big tragedy. I am a private pilot, and also in the construction of small aircraft as a hobby. I have one of my own aircraft built that I usually fly.
In the dense air highways made so by private and commercial aeroplanes in North Americas I usually fly myself, I can imagine the situation Pakistani airways aircraft and the other privately-owned passenger flight were in.
From the reports appearing here, I can only commend the quick action the PIA pilot took.
Hail to him and also long life to the passengers and the aircraft he saved.
I should have written this earlier but because of the long holiday period of X'mas and the New Year kept me away from a lot of things. If I have my way I will give the PIA crew national awards for their presence of mind and courage.
