Dr Salman Shah, Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance, and Dr Ishrat Hussain, Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan would leave for London on Monday to attend a road show in connection with launching of the Islamic bond Sukuk. Besides senior officials, they would be accompanied by Nawid Ahsan, secretary Finance and Dr Ishfaque Hussain, Advisor to Finance.
It is recalled that Dr Ishrat Husain has won the distinction as the Central Bank Governor of the Year for Asia for his leadership at the helm of the State Bank (SBP) that has brought the reforms and restructuring of Pakistan''s financial sector.
