President Pakistan Muslim League, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Sunday appealed to the politicians that they should not side with those people, who are sabotaging the development projects in Balochistan. He was talking to Rauf Sasoli of Jamhoori Watan Party, Aitzaz Ahsan of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Liaquat Baloch of MMA, Lieutenant General Abdul Majid Malik (Retd), Ejaz Hashmi, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Senator Tariq Azeem Khan, Riaz Durrani, Secretary Information Jamaat-e-Islami Ameerul Azeem, Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi and Maulana Mujibur Rehman Inqilabi who called on him at his residence here separately.
Meanwhile, Jamhoori Watan Party chief Nawab Mohammad Akbar Khan Bugti also telephoned Shujaat Hussain to condole the death of his uncle Chaudhry Manzoor Elahi.
During the telephonic conversation, Bugti also discussed the latest situation in Balochistan with PML chief.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain told Akbar Bugti that the parliamentary committee working under his (Chaudhry Shujaat) chairmanship would not remain oblivious to the present situation in Balochistan.
The PML president said the committee would finalise its recommendations very soon and present its report to the government. He said federal government after reviewing the report would take appropriate measures for the benefit of the people living in Balochistan.
Nawab Akbar Bugti appreciated the efforts and interest of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain in the issues and affairs of the province.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain further said that political and economic package for the betterment of Balochistan is in final stages. He said people, sincere to Balochistan, should not support those who are involved in the sabotage activities in the province and creating hindrance in the development projects.
The PML president said some elements want to take benefit out of the Sui incidents to achieve their vested interests and are depriving the people of the fruits of development projects.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said some foreign elements were also involved in disturbing law and order in the province.
Referring to assault case of lady doctor in Sui, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said since the officer allegedly involved in the case, has offered himself for DNA test, therefore, the case should be dealt according to law and not be used for any political benefit.
