Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in a meeting with the Chinese delegation under the leadership of Zhou Keren, Vice Chairman, Foreign Affairs Committee, here on Sunday briefed them of salient features of economic uplift in the province. The chief minister speaking about development measures in agriculture stated that crop insurance has been introduced at the province level here. He also informed the Chinese guests on measures taking place for development of dairy and livestock.
Pervaiz Elahi dilated that he was highly impressed by Chinese development in textile sector during his recent visit to China.
Chinese Vice Chairman speaking of existing fraternal bonds between two countries said that new opportunities of economic cooperation between the two countries have emerged recently.
