Atif Aslam seems to be the most popular and the busiest singer among both countries. The Pakistani singer has no doubt a magical voice and has recently replaced Indian singer Arijit Singh for a promotional song in an upcoming Bollywood movie ‘A Flying Jatt’. He has often been compared to Arijit Singh as he also sings in the same genre.
In a Facebook Live interaction with fans, he was asked about who is better between him and Arijit. In reply Atif said, “Of course… Arijit”. He then further added, “Jis ko Khuda izzat daita hai uss ko aap ko bhi izzat daini chahiye [If God’s kind to someone you should also respect them]. Arijit ko izzat mili hai [Arijit has been blessed] people should respect him. I am no one to control any person. We need to understand there’s no such thing as number one.”
Atif is back along with three new songs, which includes two songs for Bollywood movies ‘Rustom’ and ‘A Flying Jatt’ while one song belongs to Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayaat movie ‘Actor-in-Law’.
While talking to a local media, Atif also said, “I really wanted to take some time out for myself because I have been singing for the past 12 years. I wanted to revive and reconstruct myself. But it’s high time; I will be releasing a lot of Bollywood songs, Pakistani songs and I might come back with the ‘album sound’.
