State Minister for Investment and Privatization Umar Ahmad Ghumman has said the government would soon announce special package of concession for foreign investors to ensure maximum foreign investment in Pakistan. Talking to various delegations in Sambrial on Monday, he said the main objective of the government is to attract foreign investors aimed at widening the chances of investment in different fields of the country.
Ghumman said due to the effective and investment-friendly policies of the government, several multi-national companies have showed their willingness to invest in Pakistan, showing economic stability of the country.
The minister said the government had already taken numerous steps for protecting the rights of domestic and foreign investors in Pakistan. Ghumman said the privatisation process had been made fool-proof and crystal clear, adding the government was making strenuous efforts to expand the industrial sector aimed at tackling the unemployment problem in the country.
The maximum establishment of industries would help create wide opportunities of employment in the country, he added.
