Pakistani doctors have provided medical treatment to about 600 indoor and outdoor patients during the last four days at a 50-bed Field Hospital established by Pakistan's Army in Lamno, some 80-km from here. As the news of Pakistan's Field Hospital is spreading in the suburbs of Lamno, the number of patients have been increasing to a greater extent, said Major Murad, spokesman for the Pakistan Army Relief Task Force for Indonesia here on Monday.
He said the people of the areas have appreciated Pakistan armed forces for establishing a hospital, which is equipped with required medical facilities, including X-ray machine, laboratory, and ECG.
Major Murad said besides, providing outdoor treatment to the tsunami-hit people, Pak surgeons have successfully operated about 40 patients in the hospital.
About 15 specialist doctors and 45 para-medics from Pakistan are providing medical treatment to the people of the area.
