Notice issued to Faisalabad Nazim

The Lahore High Court (LHC) issued notice to District Nazim Faisalabad and directed him to appear before the court on February 07, in a petition filed by a social worker, Bashir Ahmed. The petitioner contended that the respondent has awarded a contract of toll tax collection to respondent Saleem Akhtar illegally and without lawful authority. He, therefore, prayed to the court to cancel the contract in question.
The court issued notice to the respondent and directed him to appear before the court on next date of hearing.
