The Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of road from Erum Emporium to Iqbal Garden, Sector 13-A/4 Buffer Zone. The project, which will cost Rs 10 million, has been proposed by MPA Imamuddin Shahzad under MPA's priority programme. The scheme envisages 216,000 feet of carpeting with 10-feet wide footpaths on both sides.
Speaking on the occasion, Shoaib Bukhari said that no progress is possible without development of communication networks and therefore, Haq Parast MPAs are laying the network of roads out of their respective development funds.
He said MQM has made service to people as its mission and whether it is in provincial government or in local government, its history is replete with service to people.
Imamuddin Shahzad MPA said that development activities are being carried out throughout Sindh on the directive of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and they are thankful to Shoaib Bukhari because of whose interest, score of development schemes in the health, education and communication sectors are under implementation.
