As many as nine division benches and 21 single benches will work at principal seat of Lahore High Court (LHC) from the new week commencing from Monday (January 31, 2005). According to a notification issued by LHC, the said division benches are headed by Justice Ch. Ijaz Ahmad, Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, Justice Sayed Zahid Hussain, Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Justice Ali Nawaz Chowhan, Justice Muhammad Sayeed Akhtar, Justice Mian Hamid Farooq, Justice Sh. Abdul Rashid and Justice Sardar Muhammad Aslam.
The single benches comprise Chief Justice Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry, Justice Ch. Ijaz Ahmad, Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, Justice Sayed Zahid Hussain, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Justice Ali Nawaz Chowhan, Justice Tanvir Bashir Anwari, Justice Muhammad Sayeed Akhtar, Justice Muhammad Sair Ali, Justice Mian Hamid Farooq, Justice Muhammad Khalid Alvi, Justice Syed Sakhi Hussain Bokhari, Justice Rustam Ali Malik, Justice Sh. Abdul Rashid, Justice Sardar Muhammad Aslam, Justice Muhammad Bilal Khan, Justice Ch. Iftikhar Hussain, Justice Sh. Azmat Saeed, Justice Hamid Ali Shah and Justice Umar Ata Bandial.
