Vice Consulate General Russian Federation, Sargai Cozintuoso called on Provincial Minister for Youth Affairs, Qamar Mansoor in his office on Saturday and informed the minister about the activities of Russian Center of Science and Culture. The Friendship House has been involved in various activities for promoting social and cultural values. The institution, functioning for last 27 years, has helped in decreasing the gap between Pakistan and Russia, he added.
He appreciated the efforts taken by the minister to promote the sports sector, he hoped that the Sindh government in collaboration with Friendship House would organise joint cultural and sports activities. Mansoor endorsed the idea suggested by Sargai Cozintuoso and pledged full support on behalf of the Sindh government.
Cozintuoso invited the minister as a guest of honour to Friendship House Open Chess Championship. The minister accepted his invitation.
