Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PSMA), Punjab Zone, Chairman, Mian Shahid Shafi has demanded of the government to release TCP buffer stocks so as to check sugar price hike. In a statement here on Thursday, Shafi said that sugar industry has sold 50 percent of sugar produced during the current crushing season at Rs 21 per kg.
