Three Jordanian and two Saudi wanted militants surrendered to Kuwaiti security forces on Saturday after a raid on a suspected hideout, the interior ministry said. "Security forces today raided a house in Sulaibiya (west of the capital) in which there were a number of wanted men," said a statement carried by state media.
"The raid resulted in the surrender of the five men, two of whom are Saudi and the three others Jordanian," it added without giving any names.
It was the fifth confrontation between security forces and suspected Islamist militants in a month. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
