The Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, Ambassador Munir Akram called on the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan on Tuesday evening and briefed him verbally on the Baglihar Dam issue with India, official sources said. "Ambassador Akram also took the opportunity to brief Secretary General Kofi Annan on the composite dialogue between Pakistan and India and about the need for tangible progress in this regard between the two countries, especially on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute," the sources added.
