A four-member World Bank team on Wednesday visited the Karachi Fish Harbour (KFH), and expressed their satisfaction over the cleanliness and standard. The team was comprised Eric D. Manes from South Asian Region WB, Kent R. Ford, MD, Global Development Solution, Roy Pepper, Foreign Investment Advisory Service, and Fatima Shah, private sector analyst.
The team held meeting with KFH Managing Director Dr Muhammad Nawaz Baloch, and discussed the matter of mutual understanding.
The KFH director (operation) and Karachi Fishermen's Co-operative Society directors also attended the meeting.
Expressing their satisfaction, the WB team members said that they would submit their report, and will again visit the Karachi Fish Harbour in March next.
Factory Owners Association Chairman Muhammad Hanif Khan and Member Committee Akhlaq Hussain also met the team members.
