The business community of Mirpur gave a warm welcome to Chaudhry Saeed, newly elected President of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), on his arrival at his native town Mirpur, on Thursday. FPCCI President and central leadership of Businessmen Panel were enthusiastically received by a large number of people and business community at Mangla Bridge, which connects Azad Kashmir and Pakistan.
Addressing the reception held in his honour, Chaudhry Saeed said that he would use all his abilities to make the FPCCI true representative of the business community so that it could give useful input to the government for framing business-friendly policies.
The FPCCI president said that he would press the government for setting-up a dry port at Mirpur besides establishing stock exchange.
BP chairman, Tariq Saeed said that his group would give unflinching support to Chaudhry Saeed and other elected FPCCI office bearers so that they could work freely and independently for the welfare of the traders and industrialists. He said that FPCCI would lure overseas Pakistanis for investing in different sectors to give boost to the national economy.
