South Africa clinch series as rain washes out tie

Herschelle Gibbs hit a flawless century for South Africa before rain washed out the sixth limited overs international against England at Kingsmead on Friday. Gibbs hit 118 in a South African total of 211 all out. England, chasing an adjusted target of 213 in 48 overs, were seven for two when rain ended play with the abandoned match meaning South Africa, holding an unbeatable 3-1 lead, clinched the seven-match series.
