Mixed trend was seen on the grain markets on Saturday as many buyers indulged in fresh buying , dealers said. On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag better type shed rupees five to Rs 425, while the other type maintained its overnight levels at Rs 420. Castorseed Lasbela picked up Rs 25 to Rs 800. Castorseed Sindh registered at Rs 750. On the cereals side, Urad Burma lost Rs 100 to Rs 750 on fresh arrivals, dealers said. Wheat Mexipak old and new gained Rs 10 to Rs 1160 and 1170.
Sugar inferior type shed Rs 10 to Rs 2470 and other type did not show any change at Rs 2525. Khandsari low type picked up Rs 100 to Rs 2200 best type maintained the overnight level at Rs 2500.
Other items maintained their overnight levels.
