The President of Pakistan Muslim League (PML), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that PML is a democratic party and has strived a lot to keep alive democratic traditions. This he said while talking to the Senior Vice President of PML Balochistan Haji Janan Khan and Provincial Additional Secretary of the Party, S. R. Nasir who called on him here on Monday. PML Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain and Chairman Public Complaint Bureau, Chaudhry Imtiaz Ranjha was also present on the occasion.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that manifesto of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) is promotion of Pakistan's constitution and welfare of the people. He urged party leaders and workers to highlight and inform the public about the aims and objectives of the party's manifesto.
He said the government is making all out efforts for the development of Balochistan and the welfare of its people.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that government has initiated mega projects like Gwadar Port, Coastal Highway, Mirani Dam, Sabahazai Dam, road networks from the one corner of the province to other. He hoped that Balochistan would march on the path of prosperity and development of people would definitely benefit from the development programmes.
The provincial party leaders apprised Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain about political and other issues. They said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Muhammad Yousuf and General Secretary of the party Sheikh Jaffar Khan Madokhel, the PML has been strengthened and the enrolment drive for the reorganisation of the party in the province is in full swing.
The Baloch leaders of the party on the occasion also invited President PML Shujaat Hussain and Secretary General Mushahid Hussain to visit Balochistan in March, which was accepted by the central leaders. They also appreciated the government for initiating mega projects for the welfare of the people.
