The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) has received donations amounting to Rs three million from its members for the victims of Tsunami and people hit by recent rains in the country. Out of this amount, LSE Chairman Syed Asim Zafar on Friday presented a cheque of Rs one million to Mir Khalil ur Rehman Foundation's Manager for Tsunami victims. Managing Director LSE Hamid Imtiazi and General Manager Farid Malik were also present on the occasion.
Moreover, LSE will deposit Rs one million in President's Fund set for Tsunami victims, while it will donate another one million for local population affected by recent rains, snow and floods in Balochistan and other parts of the country. Besides, LSE would also send relief goods to the areas hit by recent rains and snow in different areas of the country.
