Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao on Friday called upon journalists from Tribal Areas to play their effective role in educating people, creating awareness and highlight problems being faced by the people in their area. He was talking to a delegation of Tribal Union of Journalists that called on him led by Sailab Masood to discuss problems faced by journalists. Sherpao asked journalists to come forward and highlight area problems by adopting a proactive approach.
"Government is striving hard to facilitate citizens and an usher in the era of prosperity and economic growth," he said.
He assured them of early resolution to their problems on priority basis. Journalists assured the Minister of their co-operation in efforts to build a better society and wiping out foreign terrorist from the tribal areas.
