Despite niche market of Tamil movies, ‘Kabali’ has managed to create a new record especially in India as South Indina superstar Rajinikanth has once again proved that he is the ‘king of box office’.
Earlier, news came out that Rajinikath’s Twiitter account got hacked. The hacker followed Khans of Bollywood from the mega star's account, but when Rajnikanth gets back his account he unfollowed Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
According to Indian media reports, the hackers however seemed to possess a lame sense of humour, they first tweeted out “HitToKill” after taking over his account. They also made Rajinikanth’s Twitter handle follow certain other celebrity accounts, including Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan‘s official handles. Rajini's daughter Aishwarya later tweeted, “@superstarrajini appa’s account hack.. handle retrived. Thank you all :) #AllIsWell."
Rajinikanth had regained control over his account. One of the first things he did was to unfollow Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter! The reason he did so, is thought to be because he was never following the heavyweights on Twitter himself but the hackers did it.
‘Kabali’ was released on more than 4,500 screens worldwide on July 22. The film earned around Rs48 crore on the first day. The 65-year-old actor is one of India's most popular stars and many of his 150-plus films have broken the box-office records.
