The Karachi Port handled 56,636 tonnes of cargo including 45,241 tonnes import and 11,395 tonnes export cargo inclusive of 980 containers, during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 51,537 tonnes dry cargo including 35,005 tonnes general cargo, 16,532 tonnes bulk cargo and 5,099 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Four ships namely Ilse Wuff, Mariella, Gertude and Thor Captain sailed out to sea during the report period. Two vessels viz Ilse Wuff and Lipta Galaxy are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Yick Hing, Iran Kordestan, Captain Ayham and Arnes expected to sail on Monday, while Zang San is expected to sail on Tuesday.
Three vessels viz Diamond Park, Rainbow and Induruwa Valley due to arrive on Monday, while eight ships namely Wilmington, High Energy, Rio Rubio, Cape Ferro, Hyundai Future, Sonall, Fortune Bright and Iron Butterfly are due to arrive on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 3,550 tonnes ediblel oil; 8,282 tonnes wheat and 30,787 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely MT Jain She-36 and CV Hotaka Maru sailed out to sea on Monday morning.
Six vessels viz Rain Kiss, Chemrose, Warbah, Anette Kosan, Maersk Alaska and Nicopolis are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely Chemrose, Warbah, Anette Kosan and Maersk Alaska due to take berths on Monday.
Two vessels viz MT Sinar Sabang and MV E.Trader with chemicals and iron ore due to arrive on Monday.
