Pakistan's private and public sector business organisations have been invited to the "International conference on role of Canada in the sustainable development in Asia, Middle East, Caribbean and Africa" to be held on May 26-28, in Toronto, Canada. Global Reach International Business Development Inc Canada Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer Kafila Siddiqui extended the invitation during a meeting with Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Chaudhry Mohammad Saeed at the Federation House.
FPCCI vice presidents Akbar Abdullah and Khalid Mehmood Khan and former FPCCI president Tariq Sayeed were also present on the occasion.
Kafila said that the conference aimed to bring together leading national and international figures on a Canadian platform and said that 800 participants, including five prime ministers have confirmed their participation in the conference wherein Canadian projects in information technology and telecom, oil and gas, power, international trade, textile, mining, environment, education and training, pharma, biotechnology and healthcare and tourism will be offered for joint venture collaboration.
During the conference an exhibition will be held wherein the participants will display their products. The participants, who meet the criteria set by the organisers, will be helped in getting the Canadian visa.
Kafila said that five public sector and two private sector organisations from Pakistan had already confirmed their participation. She said that Din Group Chairman and former FPCCI president S.M. Muneer has been taken on the International Advisory Board of Global Reach 2005.
Chaudhry Mohammad Saeed assured Kafila that the FPCCI would disseminate the information among its members and hoped that there would be positive response from them.-PR
