Situation in Balochistan was so uncertain and grave that even the leader of the PML-Q and former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has shown strong reaction at the floor of the National Assembly. Muhammad Pervaiz Malik MNA and PML (N) central leader expressed these views while talking to newsmen here on Thursday. Malik further said that the National Assembly and Senate members belonging to Balochistan have separated themselves from the membership of the parliamentary committee on Balochistan issue.
"In such a situation what would the credibility of these committees and its recommendations," he added.
According to him, the statement of PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain that Jamali could not be nominated in the parliamentary committee on Balochistan issue because he was absent from the House and was in Quetta that day, does not hold any substance.
Moreover, despite recommendations of the committee, no such steps have been taken that shows improvement in Balochistan. The option of military operation still persists and the Baloch were threatened who in turn were also making preparations to face the situation. The uncertainty has deepened with each passing day. He said that the recommendations would hold weight if these were approved after a debate in the House.
