Moot on 'Achieving Self-sufficiency in Edible Oils'

The Agricultural Foundation of Pakistan in collaboration with Pakistan Oilseed Development Board, Pakistan Science Foundation and Pakistan Agricultural Research Council is holding a national conference on "Achieving Self Sufficiency in Edible Oils" from March 15 to 17. Minister for Food and Agriculture, Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan will inaugurate the conference, while a large number of stakeholders and delegates from all over the country including the farmers would participate.
A number of papers dealing with the government policies, pricing procurement and processing, utilisation of by-products, production programmes and present status of research in the field of crops would be presented.-PR
