Taraqee Foundation, a Quetta based non-governmental organisation (NGO), with support of concerned citizens, is organising a dialogue on the country's recent political scenario mainly focusing on Balochistan, a statement issued here on Tuesday said. This tense situation demands that all concerned citizens, particularly the civil society of Balochistan, come forward and contribute towards a fair, lasting and peaceful resolution of the crises.
Realizing the need, Taraqee Foundation, with the support of concerned citizens, has decided to organise a one-day national dialogue on the issues of Balochistan on March 17 in Islamabad, the statement added.
This Dialogue will bring together a diverse and balanced representative group of leading political parties, senior journalists, political analysts, noted experts and intelligentsia, government and civil society organisations to discuss the issue and gain a deeper understanding about the real issues and challenges of the Balochistan.
The expected panelist include Senator Sanaullah Baloch, Senator Amanullah Kanrani, Senator Syed Mushahid Hussain, Jamhuri Watan Party leaders, General Mirza Aslam Baig Rtd, Abid Hasan Manto, a constitutional expert, Pervaiz Shoukat, president Federal Union of Journalists, Zia-ud-Din, Editor Dawn and many others.-PR
