Quality management education helps industrial sector in exploring the ways of earning wealth through quick and sustainable penetration in new markets. Professor M Sarwar of Northumbria University, UK stated this while addressing a seminar on the topic of 'Creation of wealth through manufacturing management' at the Punjab University's Institute of Quality and Technology Management here on Tuesday. Professor Sarwar stressed the need for exploring new and contemporary dimensions of quality and technology management in the local perspective.
Director of the Institute, Professor Dr Niaz Ahmad, giving a brief introduction of the Institute, said it imparts training to professional of various areas in the field of total quality management.
British Council Director, Dr Iftikhar Elahi and former vice-chancellor Baha-uddin Zikriya University, Multan and Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad M Nazir Romani also spoke on the occasion.
