Leonard Cheshire International, an NGO engaged in women and special children welfare held a function on the eve of International women's Day, in which wheelchairs and other articles were distributed among the disabled children and women. The function held in collaboration with Taameer Welfare Organisation and Literacy department was attended by EDO (Literacy) Muhammad Asif Tarar, President "Tameer Welfare Organization" Stephen Anjum, Naib Nazim (City) Haji Alyas Ansari, Vice Principal Government College for Women Professor Nayyar Pervaiz and many others.
The speakers while delivering their speeches said that the women were an important part of the society so maximum opportunities should be provided to them enabling them to play their role for the progress of nation and country with full confidence.
