The Nust Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) is holding its first under-graduate Convocation on March 17, 2005. Higher Education Commission (HEC) Chairman Dr Atta-ur-Rahman will be the chief guest, while a large number of dignitaries and IT professionals from Pakistan and abroad will attend the Convocation. NIIT established in 1999 as a constituent institute of the National University of Sciences and Technology (Nust).
In a few years, it has been transformed into an institution of high standard and enjoys an viable reputation.
Equipped with excellent laboratories and other research facilities, it is educating students in the disciplines of information technology, information and communication system engineering and electronics engineering. It imparts education at bachelors, masters and PhD levels.
More than 80 students will be awarded the degree of bachelor of information technology and outstanding students will be awarded medals. The Convocation will be held at the EME College Auditorium.
