New York arabica coffee futures settled mixed Wednesday, uninspired by a lack of directional signals, traders said. The New York Board of Trade's most-active arabica contract for May delivery dipped 0.55 cent to settle at $1.3635 per lb., after trading in a range from $1.3465 to $1.3790. July arabica futures likewise slumped 0.55 cents to end at $1.388 a lb. Deferred deliveries finished down 0.50 cents to up 0.40 cents.
