The Liberal Forum Pakistan (LFP) in its national board meeting held recently expressed serious concerns over the continued conflict in Northern Areas of Pakistan. The meeting strongly condemned the acts of terrorism in the region. In also criticised the indifference of the Northern Areas' administration as well as the federal government regarding the situation. The government has not yet taken any concrete steps to address and defuse the situation, said the board members.
They called upon the federal government to take serious note of the situation and immediate measures to bring peace and harmony in the region in the larger interest of the country.
