First of all, I would like to think God, Almighty for He has given us the strength to contribute our penny worth for this beloved country through organisation of international events such as Textile Asia, for the 2nd successive year. Last year Textile Asia was organised in conjunction with International Trade and Industry Fair ITIF Asia 2004 but after the great response we received from the industry, we consented to enhance its scope and make is a separate annual event.
We feel proud to state that Alhamdolillah, we have been able to mobilise a number of key initiatives that have now become a key component of Textile revolution in Pakistan through such efforts.
I deeply appreciate the support of the Ministry of Textile Industry, Ministry of Investment & Privatisation: Export Promotion Bureau, Government of Pakistan and all the government departments who have greatly contributed in organising Textile Asia 2005 and making it a grand success.
I welcome the foreign and local delegates, investors, entrepreneurs, experts, exhibitors and visitors at Textile Asia 2005 Exhibition. I assure you of full co-operation and support from the organisers and I am confident that your visit will be fruitful and rewarding.
