Singapore bunker prices were stable on Friday, as fuel oil cargo levels slipped marginally. Prices for 380-cst bunker fuel were pegged at $234-$236 a tonne, unchanged from Thursday, with the differential to cargo prices at parity. "The market remains quiet as prices are still very high despite the slight fall. There were some enquiries but when they saw the offers, they never came back," a Singapore-based bunker supplier said.
"Most suppliers are unsure which directions prices will go in the next few days and holding offers at flat to cargo values or slightly higher. No one wants to get caught either way."
